MergeTap puts the pull requests waiting on you — and the deployments waiting for your approval — on your phone. Approve, comment, and merge without opening a laptop.
Free for one account. No ads, ever.
A release waits on a sign-off. A colleague waits on a review. Neither needs an hour of your attention — they need ninety seconds, from wherever you are.
Pull requests where you are a reviewer, grouped by project, across every Azure DevOps organisation you have added.
Passed, running, or failed — shown on the row, so you know whether a review is worth starting before you open it.
Pipeline and Classic Release approvals waiting on you, with the instructions the author left and how long they have been blocked.
Sign in with Microsoft for organisations on Entra ID, or use a personal access token for personal and MSA-backed organisations. Either way the credential is held in the operating system’s keystore and is sent to nobody but Azure DevOps. The one exception is optional: if you switch on server notifications for an account, MergeTap’s server stores that account’s credential, encrypted, so it can notify you while the app is closed.
Work or school accounts, through the standard authorisation flow. No password is ever seen by the app.
For organisations Entra sign-in does not cover. Scoped to reading code and identity — nothing more.
By default the app talks to Azure DevOps directly, and to nobody else. Server notifications are off until you turn them on for an account, and turning them off deletes what the server holds.
Everything that makes the app useful is in the free tier. Pro is for people juggling more than one organisation.
